Kempsville Branch 99 FRA Scholarship Program
Kempsville Branch 99 FRA is proud to support America's future leaders by awarding two $1,000 scholarships annually to deserving students. Awardees are selected based on academic standing and financial need. Branch 99 FRA Scholarships are awarded to children and grandchildren of Branch 99 members.
Scholarship applications are available for the following academic year. The 2008 application/requirements form can be downloaded, or shipmates can request an application by calling FRA Branch 99 at 757-499-6650. Applications must be postmarked no later than 16 April to be considered for scholarships that are awarded in June of each year.
All applicants are considered for the Branch 99 FRA Scholarship, provided the applicant meets the eligibility requirement for the award.
Applicants are encouraged to be attentive to detail and complete all portions of the application.
Scholarship recipients are notified in writing and by telephone. Branch 99 FRA only notifies the applicants who have been selected to receive a scholarship.
